About Me

My photo
I'm a dog. Dog is good! I was born in 2007 on the day after Christmas, which makes me a late present... I live in Marin, California with my human daddy, Dan and human mummy, Angela. They wanted to adopt a rescue puppy and although they were pre-approved, the organization declined them at the last minute because they work (while also telling them that dogs are expensive to keep). Mummy and daddy were very sad but it all turned out for the best - we all got to rescue each other and they get to spend their hard earned money on me! I'm a lovable chap and enjoy swimming, snow, tennis balls, cuddling and having my tummy rubbed. Not necessarily in that order.

Roadside Assist

This is what my doggy pals and I look like when we are chilling out at the Toyota car dealer! Aren't we well-behaved?

This morning, on our way to our dog walk, our transport broke down and our walker/chauffeur had to take the car to get repaired... and of course, we had to come too. It's a new adventure for my dog-walking pals and I!

It was a longer adventure than expected and the new smells and surroundings quickly became old smells and surroundings. So we all got in a dog pile and had a nap!

Selfie!

Daddy and I are perfecting the art of the selfie.

What do you think? Are we a handsome pair, or what?!

Oh crumbs!!

That moment when your Milk Bone explodes all over the kitchen floor and you try to quickly eat it up before mummy notices....!

Time Out Time

Life is good! Really good!

I am so excited about being back at one of my favourite places that I have officially reverted back to being a puppy. The aches and pains in my joints seem to have disappeared as I race up and down the beach chasing my tennis ball and splashing in the waves.

I'm driving daddy crazy with all my barking but I can't help it. I am so happy!!

So he took the tennis ball away to give me a time out!

Barking Mad

Woo hoo!!!!!! It's time to party!!

I am back at one of my favorite places - Carmel Beach!! All of a sudden my arthritis isn't an issue and I can zoom about on the sand, feeling the granules between my toes. I can play with my tennis ball in the surf and chase it along the beach as the waves carry it back and forth. I feel young again and can't help but bark with joy. Over and over and over again!

Daddy says I've gone barking mad!!
...I barked so much that I tired  myself out and had to have a lie down on the sand!
(much to daddy's delight!)
